A Man like Thee

"Oh please, teach me how to be more like you,"
said the young boy to his father tall.
"Teach me how to jump, and run,
and how to climb a wall."

Taking his son by hand, the father said,
"Come with me."

Then, kneeling alongside the bed,
both heads were bowed in prayer.

"Heavenly Father, please teach our son.
Oh please, make of him...and of me,
a man more like thee."
