"And now, verily, verily, I [the Lord] say unto thee, put your trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good--yea, to do justly, to walk humbly, to judge righteously; and this is my Spirit.

   Verily, verily, I say unto you, I will impart unto you of my Spirit, which shall enlighten your mind, which shall fill your soul with joy"
     - Doctrine and Covenants 11:12, 13

   The Spirit of God will enlighten your mind and fill your soul with joy. So then, let us begin to do good! Doing good will give you reason to smile.

   Our Savior taught: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
     - Matthew 5:16

   Fathers, reflect heaven's light by doing good. Fathers, do good and you will have reason to rejoice. Fathers, teach your children to do good and together you will rejoice.

There is joy in doing good.
